Coin Strike

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Coin Strike is one of those games I booted up to kill five minutes and then looked up an hour later. The idea is simple: you flick metal coins across a wooden board, aiming to knock down pins, slide into targets, and set off chain reactions. It all runs on a tidy little physics engine that feels fair, so when you miss you usually know it was your fault.

Controls are pure touch. You pull back on a coin, a dotted line shows your angle and force, and you let go. Early boards teach you the basics, but later levels throw in moving barriers, bouncy walls, and narrow gaps that demand real precision. The satisfying part is learning the physics well enough to bank a shot off two walls and still hit your target.

Best of all, it works completely offline. I played the whole thing on a long train ride with no signal and never saw a loading hiccup. Sessions are short by design, so it fits into any gap in your day without pulling you into something you can't put down.
